Zero point field, is also a similar term, which is the lowest energy state of a given field. Although it is in its ground state conformation, however, it is also not equal to zero.

Because of its proposed ability to relieve pain, strengthen bones and protect against aging, zero point energy is important in energy healing. Zero point energy is a form of faster-than-light energy. Beyond any scope of imagination this energy forms a vast array of energy. Comprised in this energy also arises another form of energy, in the form of tachyon energy. Tachyon energy is postulated to be the bridge that connects the unstructured zero point energy to humans. Tachyon energy, furthermore, is thought to have a role in the creation of subatomic particles. Because these subatomic particles are the building blocks of all matter, tachyons are subsequently thought to be the source of all frequency.
