@DownHomeCooking I'm sure it was fine (either way). I never knew how to make it with fresh potatoes (til you showed us), so the uncooked onions were just fine in the frozen ones. ...but I agree that the sauteed ones probably match the texture of the fresh potatoes a little better. Cooking is fun because there is always something to learn! Blessings! Tess
