Destination Rotorua Tourism Marketing's (DRTM) newest television commercial targeting groups of friends in the 25-35 year old age bracket launched on the New Zealand digital network on 1st September.
The new commercial shows a group of friends deciding what to do for the weekend over a backyard BBQ. With a desire to escape the city they discuss the various activities they wish to experience from boating to mountain biking and soaking in a hot pool. The decision is an easy one, its got to be Rotorua emphasising the regions fantastic range of activities available to cater for group travelers.
Recognising the rise in group travel to Rotorua and the tendency to stay longer DRTM have based this commercial around interest groups as the stimulus to travel such as outdoors, mountain biking and water activities.
Some of the programmes the commercial is being seen during are; Target, 3 News, 60 Minutes, Home & Away, Breakfast, Good Morning and One News.
