  • This quote has nothing to do with god or religion, rather how humbled he is about how little we actually know about everything and how lucky he is to experience the pursuit of knowledge.

  • Choose not atheism, theism, or agnosticism, but revel in the mystery. Stand on the shore of reality and marvel at the infinite ocean. Wonder, dream, imagine...be the ocean, be the mystery

  • Listening to you inspires me. I made a video yesterday where I share my thoughts about life and death. Maybe you'd like to watch it? Visit my channel. It's called "death" And if not - that's okay. You are great, by the way =)

  • @Uhmu45 What you say is half true, and only if it is solely your particular conception of religion that is taken into account. HIS conception is as stated. If you take his particular conception into consideration, then it becomes apparent that the entire quote is, in fact, about religion. For one to make such a definitive statement regarding this quote seems a bit presumptuous once alternate views are observed.

  • well, hell; The Cloud is on the negative or emotional path to knowing, imagination/thought active/positive path... like anything; you have to have your own eureka moments. you can lead a horse to water b u can't make em drink. Experience to know... Descartes was a bit off; tis not I think therefore I am, rather; I experience therefore I am. These understandings cannot be tested with hard science, b We can develope models n observe patterns, much like psychology

  • less eye makeup please, beautiful

  • How did I end up here?

  • Ok ..well this is what I* think* of "GOD"..if I were to describe god in two simple words it would probably be: FORMATIVE IMPULSE..which is actually inside each and everyone of us and that is why we feel the way we do about that word, b/c we know it formed us but just like it pushed everything into existence, it instilled in each and every one of us the same potential- so we can each be a formative impulse of any kind of reality-therefore creating a world.

  • can you make the next video about Islam

  • i used 2 have an idea of god that was like einstein's... but then i realised it was far from wat most ppl mean by god, & that was kind of misleading.

as for the temporal lobe thing... i imagine if u stimulated other parts of the brain u wud cause other feelings. god is just a perception - well isnt everything? u can stimulate feel-good emotions via drugs, that doesnt make the appearance of happiness in real life any less legit. same 4 reverence & mysticism i think. that said im still an atheist

  • @jobelaque One would say that a blueberry ceases to be a blueberry if it's never seen. For instance, a cat has poor color vision, so a blueberry to a cat would probably be a grayberry. Does a cat care? No. Cats are carnivores and they can't care less about berrys. So without men and cats, what is a blueberry? A juicy fruit? Or a gray lump? I think it is the same reason God created this universe. In isolation, God means nothing. It is through his creations that God himself finds relevancy.
