When will these tiny tech firms LEARN? You can NOT charge geeks $200 for a network docking station that's worth $22. We won't pay for it. Stop hacking your customer base off at the knees by charging outrageous 1000% margins. High volume, low margin. You want a huge install base. Then you can start to be stupid.

From what I understand the newer Drobo has USB 2.0, Firewire 800, and Gigabit Ethernet. Soo why waste your money on the Drobo Share ? just Plug it via Ethernet... Or rather... Buy a router such as Dlink DIR-655 that has a built in USB Port for External Storage devices, such as Drobo or External HDD.... u save $200 ... Droboshare is a silly waste of money.

DUH. An expensive NIC for the DROBO that should have been around 1/10 of the $200 MSRP. And the extra box and cables are a "feature"! -- ARRRGGGGHHHH
