Just a couple shakedown laps with the new clutch/flywheel/miata trans installed in our NASA PTC/TTC Mazda Rx7. This was at gingerman raceway during a thursday test and tune. The fastest lap of the day was in the high 42's. Once all of the issues with both driver and car have been resolved it should run somewhere in the low 38-high 37 range.
The Gingerman Test and Tune days are an amazing value, if you are ever able to do one we would highly suggest it. Very relaxed atmosphere at a very fun and challenging track. Just kinda hang out and beat on your car

Just the port done on the motor? Any internal modifications? How long does a motor last for you before it gets rebuilt? I have an 82 RX and a 80 that will be NASA ready in about a year. Nice video, she sounds great!

This motor has been in the car since '04. We pulled it apart the winter of '03-'04 to put new seals in it. Since then it's run 4 track-days, 6 time attacks, a weekend at the drag strip, 3 of these test n tunes that the movie was shot at and 2 full W2W seasons.
Internally its stock with just mazda comp apex seals, a shimmed oil pressure regulator and the porting.
Where are your at/what will you be running your car in class-wise?
