Great lost classic I heard on Sirius sat radio today; All I can think of is The Duke smacking George Kennedy in the face with that axe handle....one of my Dad's favorite westerens.

That was the last song I didn't have, from an obscure 2-LP set, The Heart of Johnny Cash that I got in '69 or '70. Hard as some of these were to find I now have them one and all on CD or MP3. Thanks.

I know. He died about 5 years before I was born. A shame too because I would have loved to watch some of his movies n the big screen.

when i first heard this song i fell in love with. i didn't know johnny cash sang it either! its too bad they couldn't use this song for the movie. it would be awesome!



Yeah, its a good song. I'm sure it was recorded on the exact day Thunderball was recorded too.
