Yamaha R1 Virtual Ride. Playing with an iQ and a screamer, enough police running around to help out (long weekend). Also it seems most of the law enforcement agencies here have gone to LIDAR (Light Detection And Ranging, also LADAR) I didn't get one hit on Ka band. A little more playing is needed but it seems the warning distance could be better.

Camera's: 3/4 (Battery problems rear cam)
Sound: High/Low f Cut, 2.2 dB gain

  • Can you do a video of when you fixed and messed with it a little? How much did it cost? Easy to set up? =D

  • @RikunoFilms That I can do, be a week or two though.

  • It would be cool to have a map on your screen that shows where all police units are.

  • @autonerf That would be nice, they do have that for known speed trap and red light camera's etc.

  • Great as always :D

  • @FunkyFalc0n Thank ya

  • @elcomcf Agreed, but I think i have worked out. The false positives come on hard and strong and don't ease up, compared to the real hits which are almost a chirping. Need to play with it a bit more but with the all the features I'm liking it, just needs to be able to play video ... lol

  • @vkosav Yup, sure do

  • @Mrillwill84 Never totalled it up, but I did it cheap. 50 - 75 a night for hotels (x 6), a nice uncle to to put me up for a few days. Ran off the continental breakfast for as long as a could before stopping for something to eat. Meals were fast food for the most part so I could make the miles. Tires at the end were a little unexpected (350), all totalled I think it was around 1500. Average tank fill was around 15 dollars on the R1. This was a no frills trip just something I really wanted to do.

  • It would be great if it didn't give out so many false readings!
