@rurouni82 I think I found the DVD you are referring to. Is it the release posted at a website called "Lost Action Classics?" Otherwise, Amazon and IMDB show no record of a DVD release and the versions typically found on Ebay are ripped from the Laserdisc or VHS tape. I'm curious to hear more about this.
#1 Enter the Ninja,(starring Franco Nero) #2 Revenge of the Ninja, #3 Ninja 3: The Domination. None of them have anything to do with each other story wise but they all have Sho Kosugi, and are all done by Cannon Films.
No DVD exists at all. The only way to get an official release is to find a used VHS Tape or the Laserdisc release. Unfortunately, the Laserdisc is super rare and extremely prone to rot such that the remaining good copies cost an enormous amount of money.
I have the original VHS copy of Ninja 3. I love the theme music at the beginning and end of the movie.
