Gaming Etiquette at its Best in Lineage 2

Lineage 2 had just become a free to play MMO and apparently a lot of people leveling at the same time + Saturday meant lines??... Yup, believe it or not almost 50 complete strangers were lined up single file while waiting for their turn to kill the next spawn of the quest mob we all needed. Fortunately, about a minute after taking this video the GM's mass-spawned the quest mob for us and virtually everyone was able to finish their quest at the same time. Still, it was unlike anything I'd ever seen in an MMO. Possibly the best part was watching the line move... so funny.

On the one hand, it is incredible that so many people would actually be so... polite.

On the other hand, the need to wait in virtual line to complete a quest is something that should NEVER need to happen in an MMO. Ever.

@paulrgod I play on Naia and a clannie also recorded something like that, also a few of the newbs experienced something similar with not as many people;) but i think shillen was the first to display this level of civil conduct ;)

This kind of thing used to happen in Star Wars Galaxies at every entertainer, every doctor, every smuggler, and every "quest"-related area. This pretty much ended when they became just another themepark, unfortunately.

These old school MMOs bring so much more to the table in terms of community, reputation, and friendship. Every time I see a story like this as a rarity makes me yearn for the early days of MMO gaming.
