The2Coolest2- im not idiot and delorean dont use fuel that reason using nuclear to connect fluxing capacitor to reach 88mph but 90 doesnt make no sense???/ that impossible running over past 88mph?/

@188joel
First DeLorean's engine is using fuel. Nuclear rector gives power for flux capacitor.
DeLorean got 170hp - 200hp and top speed around 112mph.
So for time travel he must reach 88mph or higher to travel through time. It doesn't matter if its 90mph or 92mph. Like The2Coolest2 said more speed more power. Do you understand now?

@188joel what? all cars need fuel or else nothing will burn! if you watched bttf 1 doc says he needs a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts. if you have no plutonium and you didnt put it in its possible to go over 88mph. THINK BOY THINK!

@MrJojo3810
Actually fuel is running the DeLorean's engine, but he needs plutonium for flux capacitor => this requires 1.21 gigawats.
