  • A million thanks for posting this.I learned to play it on the organ for my dear old Dad years ago. He is now 87 and I've played it for him during my last visit only today. I love to play it myself, although the music I have for it doesn't have that last bit where he wakes up. Dad has told me about it, and now Ive heard it.He'll be over the moon when I show him this utube rendition of it. Well done, and again, thank you.

  • @Sandygmrfs Thanks for your nice comments. Your dad must have been a small child when he first heard this. I am glad you found this version and I hope he enjoys it!

  • Great rendition and imaginative graphics. You spent a good deal of time preparing this video....and it shows! Thank you for your efforts.

  • @gmmix Thank you for your kind remarks. It's much appreciated!

  • This is fantastic.I just heard it on the Saturday Night listener's request program. It is not on the Vaughn De Leath compilation that I have.

  • @walnuttheclown Thanks for watching. There are at least two other versions of this posted on YT. One has Irving Kaufman doing the vocal and the other Smith Ballew.

  • @bsgs98 yes, until last week I had never heard this song.

  • @abendstunde49 It is a fun song, not the typical torch song that Vaughn De Leath is known for. It was probably intended for the kids to enjoy!

  • Great video! Lots of fun!
