On the Rocks: Icebreakers rush to save 500 sailors on ships stuck in ice

Russian icebreakers are rushing to save a fleet of vessels stranded off the country's Far East coast. Several ships have been locked in ice for days in the bay of Sakhalin with around 500 people on board.

@AgrivatedKillah I think it should be quite obvious that RT is a channel aimed primarily on the English-speaking audience (US, UK, Canada, Australia). Also, it is the most widely spoken language in the world. China alone has more people understanding English that the US. For that reason - many countries have adopted such a practice of broadcasting their news in English.

As far as I know, it's usually seen as an alternative to mainstream media.

The DWP is caught in a lie. It is telling people that it has received information about them from 3rd parties when this turns out to be an absolute, down right lie which is causing so much distress to the weakest, most vulnerable and defenceless members of our society, terrorising them for absolutely no good reason whatsoever.
