Man,I remember John Hope forecast the weather especially during hurricanes back in the late 90's on TWC clear as day. He was a good weather man! R.I.P John Hope, we thank you for the memories you gave us.

@Bvest1 I can't believe NBCUniversal bought The Weather Channel (everyone knows MSNBC is nothing but propoganda).

Mr Hope was the real deal. When he said it was time to get out, you got out. Not all this media hype and sensationalism you get with this new NBC Weather Channel we have now. I miss his professionalism.

The weather channel has lost a lot of its best qualities since John died. They need someone like him to run things when hurricanes are around- no hype BS, no competing with cable- just getting the facts to people to keep them safe.
