If Elvis had not gone to the studio and record a song as a present for his mom, then today Elvis would lead a normal life and perhaps he would be alive today!!!

Loved this movie. I understand that the actor that played Elvis actually sang "You Were Always on My Mind" at the end of the movie. Is this true?

@Reasonwillwin You are so right! They made him look like a total **hole the whole movie and then at the end suddenly omg he is dead and we are so sad and of course she acts like he died because she wouldn't take him back right? How about talking about all of Elvis' good humanitaran work??? The guy used to give cars to people, etc! They all lived off him then and they STILL ARE!

@CourtneyLW17 Alot of those mistakes started when he was in the army. My grandfather was also in the army and was also stationed in Germany in the late 1950s, his drug use started at that time. I wouldn't blame Priscilla for them his condition became worse after they broke up. He was addicted to pills and that had nothing to do with Priscilla she in fact tried to get him help, several people did. You can't force someone into treatment.

Personally, My thoughts about Elvis and Priscilla were that I think that Elvis may have fell in love with her; but, she was the cause of a lot of things that went wrong. Elvis once said that he automatically fell for Priscilla because she reminded him of his mother. I think if Elvis had never married Priscilla, he'd probably wouldn't have made a lot of the mistakes he did and wouldn't have went the way he did. Elvis is my favorite and all time love. I grew up listening to him. born in '94

Am I the only one who thinks the directors were fucking stupid? I mean for pete's sake, first they make Elvis out to be a mentally deranged woman beating rapist for 2 hours and then in the end they make a beautiful montage of him as if they had some respect for him. I spit in the face of everyone who's connected to this fuckin movie.

Oh, but why didn't Priscilla cry during any of the funeral scenes? Was intentional of the actress do you think? I cried more than her and I was only watching the damn thing! Lol
