@dnapowersports Not necessarily defending the play, but he probably put him on AK with the Ace of diamonds. If you just call he gets to see the river without putting anymore chips in the pot. By going all-in you (and this is your read) you protect your hand and make him pay to out-draw you. Also have to note this was 6-handed. So it's much harder to put someone on bigger flush.
