Founded in 1995, the New West Symphony is one of Southern California's premier symphony orchestras. As a significant cultural and education institution in the community, New West Symphony provides vigorously engaging music educations programs to schools introducing students to the joys and benefits of classical music and nurturing the audiences for the future.
New West Symphony performs in three venues, the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and Barnum Hall in Santa Monica. The orchestra performs 18 Masterpiece series concerts each season and performs for over 30,000 people each year.
