My standard poodle's name is Bailey too :). They are such a smart breed. This morning my husband told Bailey to go wake up Emily (our daughter) and so Bailey gets his toy, goes in Emily's room and drops the toy on her and licks her face :) I asked him where "Daddy" was today and he went to the door with his toy lol!
I think they know more than what we think they can comprehend sometimes.

@notebene1 Just came across this video today and it touched me. I lost my 14 yr old apricot standard on March 7,2011 too - her name was Joy and she was the joy of my life, and I agree - standards are wonderful dogs!

Scott, I am in tears over your loss. I can't begin to tell you how horribly sorry I am.
Bailey reminded me so much of of my beautiful Amy, and I enjoyed watching Bailey's video. Please don't remove it.
Scott, again, I am so sorry that you lost Bailey. I pray that Bailey and Amy are in the Heavens, playing and romping together.

it's so nice to see this video. bailey reminds me a lot of my poodle, solo, who looks just like him. i recently lost my baby. he loved bunnies and squirrels as well

@GoldwingQueen1 We just put Bailey down less than a week ago (March 7, 2011). He we just shy of 13. I am very sorry for your loss as well. I will always miss my perfect poodle boy. -- Scott
