Love Is Dead || Five

*I know I haven't updated in a LOONG time, but here it is. Sorry. And I'm thinking of canceling this. I never seem to have time for it.

[[Later On]]
Demi:*walks in*
Selena:*smiles, walking towards her* so, how was it?
Demi:*glowers at her* you knew, didnt you?
Selena:er, yes?
Demi:*sighs and sits on the couch*
Selena:im sorry, sis.
Ashley:*sitting on the other couch* told you so.
Selena:you people are such downers. *rolls eyes*
Edward:*walks in the living room* how was the party, Demi?
Demi:it was okay.
Edward:well you came back pretty early.
Demi:i dont think i could stay there for too long, anyway. *sighs*
Edward:*tries to change the subject* your mom, Zac, and i will be out hunting tonight. would you like to join us?
Demi:i think ill pass, Edwa- dad.
Edward:*smiles* alright. maybe next time.
Demi:*nods* excuse me. *walks upstairs*

*DEMI'S POV*
I walked into a room. Joe's room. Or as he would say it, our room. Everything was the same. The sight of the room made me wince. Just another handful of memories. My fingers ran across the furniture and everything in it's reach. I came to the stereo system. I began to get curious, so I pressed the "open" button. A CD was in it. The same CD Joe and I last listened to, just before we left for Alaska. My lullaby. My eyes wandered around the room until the caught the sight of the bed. In my human days, I would easilu sleep to my lullaby. Sleeping in the arms of my love, that was perfectly humming it, was like a heaven.

=Flashback=
Joe:*humming*
Demi:your doing this on purpose. *fighting to keep her eyes open*
Joe:*smiles sweetly down at her* what?
Demi:*yawns* you're changing the subject.
Joe:fine. *sighs* i cant make love to you until its time, Demi. do you want to get killed? its nothing but danger towards you.
Demi:i live for danger.
Joe:*chuckles lightly* ive noticed.
Demi:danger, schmanger. im in a house full of vampires, laying in the arms of my vampire boyfriend. isnt that danger, enough? *rolls eyes*
Joe:*frowns* yes. yes, it is.
Demi:i was trying to prove a point. not insulting you. *looks up at him*
Joe:i know, love. *intertwining their fingers*
Demi:well?
Joe:*sighs* no. nothing will change my mind.
Demi:what is it? am i unattractive to you? do you think im disgusting?
Joe:*laughs*
Demi:*gets up on her knees, facing him* this isnt funny, at all, Joseph.
Joe:*smiles at her* you really are something.
Demi:*blushes* stop that.
Joe:*chuckles and brings her in his chest again* you are the most beautiful thing ive ever seen. the only thing disgusting about you is how stubborn you are. *jokes*
Demi:*smiles* can we negotiate?
Joe:about?
Demi:*rolls eyes* you know what. now, heres what i thi-
Joe:marry me first.
Demi:*looks at him, shocked*

*DEMI'S POV*
I laughed at myself. I didn't even notice I was crying again. My attention moved on to a frame above the bed. A picture of Joe and I.

=Flashback=
Demi:er, are you sure we should be doing this?
Joe:taking a picture?
Demi:uhm, yes.
Joe:im perfectly sure. is there something wrong?
Demi:well, uh... nothing, really. but...
Joe:*waiting for an answer*
Demi:uh, no offence or anything. but wouldnt it look weird taking a picture by myself. i dont want to seem conceided.
Joe:what are yo- OH! *laughs*
Demi:*pulls her eyebrows together* what?
Joe:you thought i wouldnt *laughs* appear. didnt you? *laughs*
Demi:well, its true.
Joe:*smiles and holds her by the waist* love, im a vampire, not invisible.

*DEMI'S POV*
I laughed again. How stupid of me? I examined the rest of the room and realized something very important. It isnt just bad memories, there were good memories too. I didn't want them to end. I strived to remembering good memories. Then it hit me. I ran out of the window and stopped when I reached my destination. The wind through my hair. The view of the mountains and river was amazingly breathtaking. Maybe because its where Joe first trusted me with his secret. The same secret I have now. I smiled at the view and gripped on the branch tighter.

Demi:you were wrong, Joe. your not the bad guy. your the hero. *closes her eyes, taking all the memories in* you were ALWAYS my hero. you still are. *opens her eyes*
