@5954ldydi --I forgot... you can also apply a shade of lipstick over top in the day (just do not put any foundation or concealer on lips. Apply the Blistex Silk & Shine on clean dry lips using a circular motion then wait a couple of minutes and apply an application of lip stick if you must for daytime use.

@5954ldydi Continued--- once I get a good application of Silk & Shine (found in drug store chains) on my lips I put lips together and use lips to rub in the Silk & Shine Blistex more then I re-apply using a small circular motion. By doing this moisture get absorbed more. If lips are very chapped use the Silk & Shine all day & night until lips improve it usually only takes 1 or 2 days to perfect lips again if you continue to apply throughout. Before this I have tried everything. Hope this helps!

SMLx0 --Here is a tip for chapped lips. Before bed or whenever at home on carefully wipe/remove all lip makeup then use a wet soft toothbrush (or wash cloth) and gently rub in circles to remove dead or pealing skin -DO NOT use soap. Next be sure lips are completely dry & apply Blistex Silk & Shine in a circlular motion on upper & lower lips be sure to cover completely & generously and get in the corners on each side, continue to apply before it wears off. This works for cracked lips also.
