I want that dress! She was starring in "Wait Until Dark'" on Broadway at the time. Larry Blyden and Jayne Meadows join the panel.

  • One of my fav actresses. She had a very intelligent aura, was very beautiful and at the same time very humble. Even in those days that was an extraordinary mixture.

  • A very classy and beautiful woman. They don't make actresses like that anymore.

  • I've watched very many of these shows now (thank you roots66!) and I've come up with a list of my favourite women. Those who not only looked good but were charming, intelligent and funny too. Anyone like to share their own list?

    1. Hedy Lamaar

    2. Ava Gardner

    3. Debbie Reynolds

    4. Jeanne Crane (although I don't share her political outlook)

    5. Eva Marie Saint

    6. Lee Remick

    7. Gene Tierney

I can think of far fewer of today's stars about whom I feel the same way. Grumpy old man??

  • She was just compleetly perfect, one of the most beautiful woman ever!

  • One of my favorite Charles Bronson flicks was called Telefon and starred Lee as the female lead and Donald Pleasance as the villain. She is what made the move so watchable.

  • @gregorvonkallahann Agree with you. Mel Ferrer her husband at the time was involved in the movie version of WUD. Lee would have been great. Audrey was good though.

  • Liv Ullman is nowhere near as pretty as Lee and bears no resemblance whatsoever.

  • I saw her in this play on Broadway when I was in high school and then sat NEXT to her at the restaurant, BUTTERFIELD'S, on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood 10 years later.

  • Happy Birthday Lee!

  • After being struck by those incredible eyes I followed Lee's all too-short career and even managed to see her 'Live' in 'Bus stop' in London. My best night ever.

    RIP Miss Remick

  • Lee Remick, what a knockout!

  • Lee Remick is such a true beauty!
