there is overwhelming evidence the ossuary box is from the proper time, but the inscriptions may be from another time. perhaps a few hundred years later or even more recently within our generation. I agree the box is a fraud if it is concerning the family of jesus, but this doesn't prove Jesus was divine in any way.

Show me a sign! Perform a miracle for me! God is not a magician in some circus or something we should take lightly and demand from HIm proof that He is the great "I AM". He made it clear to us that a person just needs to look up in the heavens and at all the beauty in this earth to know that He is God. Those who cry for proof know that there is none that is 100% accurate. Remember, all we need is faith in Jesus Christ for no artifact or man made object can save us.

Even more of a problem than fakes is the idea that you can start with the answer and then go find it. In archeology we usually have a discovery and then try to figure out the who, what and why of it. If you work in reverse it is far easier to claim correctness and to say that this is...We have seen this with the Ark and the grail numerous times. In science you cannot have the answer to a puzzle before you even collect data and evidence.

@tendele7 Church Dogma greatly contradicts the bible. It's a great thing that we are warned about this! Which many people don't realize. I rarely hear of messages against the prophesied false religions. People have to read Revelation and understand that there is false religion all around us. Especially in Christian churches, even more so in Catholic churches.

I'd probably have to agree with you 100% on the idea that the Bible is poorly read and understood. It's amazing the simple questions you can ask and never get a straight answer. And the straight answer is far more simple than the jargon you end up getting. IE: I meet very few Christians who can tell me why Jesus said, "Only the father knows" when they ask Him when He would return. Or why King David said, "My cup runneth over". ODDLY...every Jewish person I've asked answers correctly.

Should one really be surprised? I mean we're talkin big business here. Of course there will be fakes and frauds. I was curious about the title of the video. Did you mean to implicate "most" Biblical archeology? Some of it? Or all of it? I haven't researched these guys so I wasn't aware of this particular incident. But ya know...as long as there are those who hope...there will be those who try to give that hope some substance. Myself...I just try to eliminate the impossible and take what's left.

There is an article in the 200th issue of Biblical Archaeology Review concerning the James Ossurary. It was written in 2009. It talks about the charges being dropped and they still stand behind it's authenticity. He was not "indicted" as stated in this video.

It sounds like you have a fairly good grasp of Jesus "last prayer" found in John 17. It is one of my favorites, AND makes it easy to see the "Church" is not following the absolute mission of the Christ. Bless you my friend! Subscribe to the vids and send me a friend request. I look forward to sharing more.
Its not the Bible that is at fault. Its the Church Dogma that often is in contradiction with the bible. For instance the order of events are listed in order thast will occur in the Tribulation. It is clearly given so that a child will understand . It shows the Elect or Saints will be collected at the last Trump after everything has been experienced. yet ministetrs sell the idea of the Rapture where all the elect are collected before those events. This is called the Rapture.

Doctrine and dogma is what blocks true Biblical understanding. Too much fantasy, and not enough study.
