you sometimes need to raise taxes on the TOP 1% of wage earners (households earning over $350,000) to balance the budget. This should be done in conjunction with spending cuts.

AND that there is nothing wrong with believing in evolution and global warming, 2 FACTS on which there is scientific consensus on, no matter what tea party enthusiasts and multinational oil companies (ie. BP and ExxonMobile) will have you believe.

@raztis1 He also wants to end the Fed, abolish the IRS and all forms of income tax, and return to a commodity based currency (be it gold/silver/copper/whatever). An economy based on capital building. The Keynesian school always wants to make the argument that the main driving force of the capitalist economy is consumption. In a real free market economy, the engine is saving, capital accumulation and buying things that have real value. Consumerism as a form of economy is artificial.

@MarcLira66 ron paul, as well as the rest of these terrorists want to KILL half the pop. of this country. they want to cut min wage laws allowing corps to pay 2-4$ an hour for workers.. THEN destroy soc. security, medicaid, medicare, govt housing, govt childcare, and food stamps.. so when, lets say, a single mother of 3 kids, only able to work 2 jobs bcuz of govt childcare, loses her food stamps, then gets her wages cut in HALF.. what does she do? her children STARVE or she kills ppl to survive
