Thank you for sharing your story- our son has this awful disease and it is good to know that we are not alone. What a beautiful child Zane was. These children are angels.

Beautiful. May Zane and My son who died in 1985 at aged 3 with Batten's continue to enrich our lives with their strength , courage, love and guidance.

OMG i could barely make it through this video :( I feel deaply for your loss. My cousins daughter Tatyanna was diagnosed with battens disease in late 2007 at the age of 5 as well. Our family's sympathy goes out to u. Tatyanna went to china last year for experimental treatment, but it is said to only slow the process of the disease unfortunately. If u would like her video is Tayanna 1. Blessings to your family.

My son is 5 and now I'm balling at the thought of going trough something as tragic as this.I don't know who you are but believe we are all connected in some way. my heart goes out to you and commend you for being strong for him when he most needed you. Your son's time here, as short as it may of been...still ripples life...I know.....cause I feel it. Bless you and all your family.

That was my child... My daughter was diagnosed at the beginning of 1996 at the age of 18 months and passed at the end of 1999 almost 5 years old.. Besides momma Ball was her first and last word ever spoken. My heart breaks knowing that other families are going through this and my prayers go out to each and every child and parent...This was a beautiful tribute I wish I knew how to do this so I could do the same for Amber.
