Truth be told, the world has known for a long time that diamond companies are ruthless to the workers who mine their product. Maiming workers...maiming children in ways most do not want to hear about while they wear that expensive stone on their finger. The history of how it got to them becomes irrelevant, as long as they impress. For myself, this isn't worth the pain/suffering of those already working so hard. I will never wear a real diamond for I know the history of blood behind them.

Real Diamonds are rare nor should they be expensive - DeBeers just controls the price - Are they rare - Just look, there are thousands and thousands at WallyMart, JC Pennys, Sears, Target and ten thousand jewelry stores - Might as well get a good CZ - Few can afford more than a one carat real diamond no matter how poor the cut, color and clarity.
