dohc makes it compete with the 50cc 2 strokes, but still not enough sorry, 2 strokes are still more tuneable.

@Velkus96 yep, for each exhaust valve one pipe :) it's a 50cc single 4-valve DOHC - very impressive stuff, and IMO the most beautiful 50cc street-legal machine ever made. it's based on the old CR 110 which also was a 50cc bike they sold to some customers back then (for race use), the CR 110 again was based on the RC 112 to RC 115 GP-racers.

50cc engine with 2 exhausts?
-
@cityflyguy it's a 4-stroke
-
old yes, ugly- you have no taste in vintage beauty, overpriced due to the fact that each dealer only has one, which means its not over produced, and you wont pass another person riding if you had one
-
no it hasnt....it's old, ugly and overpriced
-
OMG they dón't even sound like 2 stroke :-s and not even go like 2 stroke :-s
-
Yeah I discovered that just afew minutes after making that comment lol. Easy mistake to make though. They sound and go like 2 T.

The Honda Dream 50 is a 4 stroke double overhead cam single cylinder, not a 2 stroke.
Aprilia RS50, NSR50 etc. are 2 strokes.

hey I saw one yesterday, it is hung up from the ceiling at a Honda dealership in Manchester, England. The dealer is "Hunts" if anyone wants to see it. Very cool little bike, 2 Strokes are awesome. Modern equivalents of this bike do exist today and are very popular in europe. Aprilia RS 50, Honda NSR 50 and so on.
more or less, depending on the country...
Many were produced in Japan, were there also was a Dream 50 R racing championship.

Yes, it's a real '98 Dream 50, and it goes to 55-60 mph (90-100 km/h)
