The Boy Next Door Chapter 62

I'm baaacckkk!!! And I have a whole bunch of fresh, new ideas for this story, so WATCH OUT!! XD
Here's chapter 62 of Boy Next Door! =)

Cori's POV

I decided that I couldn't wait for Joe. I had to do something about this mess I was in.
I pulled out my phone.
"Kevin" I texted. "Please text me back... I can explain everything."
I sent it and stared over into his window. I saw him take his phone out and he read the message. My heart began to beat fast when I saw that he was replying it. My phone rumbled and I grabbed it, opening Kevin's text.
"I get it. You'd rather be with Joe. Feelings grow. I understand." it read. "We'll stay friends."
I felt the tears in my eyes. There was no use texting back. He wouldn't understand.
I recieved a text from Joe a few moments later.
"I'm up! Got a plan?" it read.
I sighed. "Come over to my house. Now." I texted.
There was a knock at the door less that 5 minutes after I sent it. I ran down and answered it. Joe stood there, in the process of pulling his arms through the sleeves of his hoodie. I grabbed him and pulled him inside, shutting the door.
"So what's the plan?" he questioned, following me up the stairs and into my room.
I shut the door quietly and went to sit beside him on my bed.
"I texted Kevin. He just wants to be friends." I whispered. "He thinks i've actually fallen in love with you."
"You make it sound like that would be impossible." he replied, a frown on his face.
I rolled my eyes. "Joe, you know I love Kevin and only Kevin."
He laughed and nodded. "Yeah. Sorry."
We sat there in silence. I waited for him to speak, to voice a plan that would solve everything. But that totally wasn't going to happen.
"Any ideas at all?" I sighed, turning to him.
"Nope." he said. "All I can think about is that I'm wasting valuble time that I could be having with Marie."
I punched his arm.
"Ow.. just kidding." he muttered.
I stood up and walked to my computer.
"This is crazy! Why is he being so stubborn? What am I supposed to do? Write him another song?!" I said, frustrated.
"That could work." Joe interjected. "I mean, that whole 'You Belong With Me' song got him to tell you his feelings."
"Joe, that was a one time thing. I can't write songs! That was the first song i've ever written." I sighed.
"But it was good!" he exclaimed, walking over to me. "Actually, it was better than good. It was great."
He smiled at me and I raised my eyebrows.
"I'll help you." he said happily. "After all, I do help write the songs for the band."
That brought me up short all of a sudden. I had completly forgotten that they were even in a band.
"Do you want to know something?" I suddenly asked.
He cocked his head to the side. "What?"
"I've been friends with you guys for almost 3 months, and i've failed to ask you something."
"What did you fail to ask?" he laughed.
"Why are you even here?" I said, raising my eyebrows again. "You never did tell me."
He grinned and laughed even louder. "Cori, we're taking a break from the band for a few months. Everything got so crazy so we stopped for a little while. I can't believe you actually never asked!" he chuckled.
I metally slapped myself in the head. "That makes sense."
"So will we write a song or not?" he asked impatiently.
I sat down at my computer and took a deep breath.
"Let's do it." I said.
I could tell that he was smiling behind me.

I'll start posting again now! My finals went great! I think I did really good! =D

Great that your finals were great! I've only done one so far- social, the one I thought would be the hardest was actually the easiest one and I CRAMMED :(- so I still have to worry about all the other ones :( And now that your posting again, it can take my mind of finals! Yayy ! L0L :P Great episode/1 but if Cori writes a song with Joe, won't Kevin still be a little bit jealous if he forgives her? Hmmm... I hope it all works out! Btw. World cup? Germany or Italy...?
