Lucy refuses to believe Aaron's claims about Alison and orders him to leave Fairwinds. After he does and Lucy heads to bed, Craig smiles at the thought of his success though Rosanna warns him that the consequences of his scheme will come back to hurt him. She offers to end her relationship with Lucy as her confidant and ends up thanking him for making her happy. Aaron refuses to give up and confronts Lucy again, urging her to believe him, not Alison. At the hospital psychiatric ward, Chris presses Alison to tell him the truth about the fire now that Lucy has her memory back. Bursting into tears, Alison cries that she didn't mean to hurt Will and confirms she started the fire. Alison then escapes from him so Chris calls Emily and Susan who angrily blames Chris for endangering her daughter's life. Alison runs to Aaron and asks for his forgiveness but he refuses and shuts the door in her face. Admitting to Emily that she'd like a drink to help her deal with her anguish, Susan apologizes to Chris for blaming him for her daughter's troubles. Dusty Donovan returns to Oakdale and thinks he sees Lily talking with Paul at the Lakeview. When Paul leaves for a moment, Dusty slips up behind Rose and kisses her. She blasts him for the kiss and isn't amused when Paul introduces Dusty as his cousin who once was in love with Lily. Dusty tells Paul he's financially set and also still a bachelor.
