I notice that people in Åkerlund's video always laugh in front of other people's pain. That fact scares me

Watch Blondie Good Boys video that is where this short film comes from.
The other film it reminds me of is Freaks Not a silent film but make in the 1930s
check it out its is quiet disturbing for its time and was banned I think up until the 90s but you can get it on dvd on amazon its brilliant

@fanmail59 I just watched a blondie special on TV and she talks about this clip, she said the inspiration behind it was the silent film 'He Who Gets Slapped" by Victor Sjöström. I can definitely see the Santa Sangre connection to, i think Jodorowsky was very influenced by this film and from his work with Marcel Marceau

Always loved the Blondie video... You really can see the influence of 1920's silent film "The Unknown" starring Lon Chaney and Joan Crawford on this video, also the Mexican film "Santa Sangre" ...

I can't help it lol, everytime the melody finishes I feel like the scratch is coming and Good Boys begins. It gets me nervous!! But the story is lovely either way, short and fast or long and slow :)

@dreamerdeferred Is this redone though to just a slower piano rather than a peppy band?

@piasade It says in the credits "Music By B londie"
"In the grim Comedy of life, it has been wisely said that the bravest act is love."
