@MrLowAltitude All VW cars have got a reverse thread in the front bumper and a hook that goes in there. The hook is hidden in the trunk and you have to read the manual to find out where it is and where it goes in the front bumper. I think that attaching a rope to a front wheel just shows their stupidity. They could have done something to the steering...

I'm guessing they didn't know how to attach the detachable towing eye. It also looked like they had the disco in low range, which is not what you want on slippery mud.

Man, I could cry watching this video!
1. An AUDI isn't made for mudding! Go take an old japanese 4x4 or a real offroader.
2. Are you serious, putting the rope arround the spokes?!?! Damn... EVERY normal car has a hook somewhere under the front or rear bumper.
3. Learn how to use a camera!
