  • hi guys! great reviews! was running BT016 for last 2500 miles, GREAT tyre!!! amazing grip and confidence, but quite low millage, now I have decided to experiment a bit, so on the front I am leaving 016 (which still have plenty of life) and on the back BT023, as I do europe tour next weekend. never tried the michelins but might do it next time.

any Idea Ritch what millage can I expect from 023's ???

  • @kwaker400 the 023's should give you apprx 12k - 14k on the rear as long as you can keep the speeds under 200 kmph. Over 200 kmph the tires start to disapear.

  • So for supersport bike..for normal street riding n twisties..is better on Pilot Road 2ct or Pilot Power 2ct ..??

  • @ZulCelak the 2CT will provide better grip and be a little more compliant for bumpy sections, the Road 2 will last longer while sacrificing some grip. It all depends how hard you are going to ride, if you push hard, you may want the 2CT's, if you generally obey the speed limits or go only a little above in the twisties, the Road 2 will work great.

  • is a bridgestone tire better than a dunlop for cruiser bikes? i have an 09 harley fxcw that i use as a daily rider, which tire would you recommend? thanks

  • @xd1rtx I would'nt say either tire is better. We do like the Avon and Metzler tires a little better for the bigger bikes but it really depends on what style of riding you do and how long you expect your tire to last. There is usually a tradeoff when it comes to grip and tire life.

  • hi everyone.. all the reviews are done on ok pavment.. here in greece it's like driving on ice.. to help u understand how sleepery it is, from a complet stop, i took of adn went trough the gears all the way into 6th and every gear the rear tire was spinning.. that was on a brigestone bt021.. i know that it isn't the best tire for the roads we have here but it did last the longest.. before chosing the bt021 i was changing the rear tire almost every month.. lol

  • Oh cool..thanks for the tips..better to take the 2ct's for some twisties ..!!! Hehehe

  • I use pilot power on the front and road 2 on the back on my 07 cbr1000, i don't think the road 2 provides enough traction when I'm taking it hard at the twisties, but definitely good mileage, how it's a long time looking forward for it to wear out....
