In this hair tutorial, I show how to create a voluminous hairstyle inprired by the hairdos of 1950s and 1960s using a Secret Hair Boostia.

Unlike using hairstyling products, blowdryers, and curling irons to boost hair largess, the Secret Hair Boostia is a small plastic headband that you hide under your 'do to push everything up like a push up bra.

Their purpose is a to create a fabulous beehive or quiff in seconds with no damage to hair. You can use them both with or without teasing your hair. Boostias come in different colors (to match your hair color) and in different sizes (each size for different volume).

You can get them on http://www.hairboostias.co.uk

  • @000naila these are "Secret Hair Boostia" and I added the link to their website in the information box under the video. There are also "Hair Bumpits" that are pretty much the same thing :)

  • you look like Madonna or Angelina *.* great hairstyle, I like that kind of retro style : )

  • @Owca2512 thank you, I'm happy you liked it :) I like retro too ;) xxx

  • I'm a fan of Megan Fox, you pulled this 'do off excellent!

BTW: Does Megan Fox remind you of a younger version of Angelina Jolie? She does have that attitude!

  • @YellowChariot99 :) thanks! yeah, they do have a lot in common, there's even a pic somewhere in google, something like "find 10 differences"...haha... I'm a huge fan of Angelina and that's because in my opinion she's not only gorgeous woman but also a brilliant actress, while Megan is simply gorgeous :)

  • aww. I don't have enough hair to hide the boostia

  • @000naila it sais it in the description

  • @ShotgunAndAShovel I do it very slowly, but I can always hear my hair being torn....thanks for your response

  • @888mina888 I remove everything from my hair (pins/ponytails--etc.) and allow my hair to fall loose. I then carefully, SLOWLY wiggle the bumpit out. It can take a little while but I can usually get it out without tearing my hair. My hair breaks easily and is realllly fine, so this technique should work for just about anyone.

  • Allsome, and thank you very much, this is what i want for my wedding hairstyle and i can do it!

  • Can you PLEASE do a tutorial on how to remove those boostias??? PLEASE!!! Every time I use them, I end up ripping my hair

  • Wow thanks! I need this for a dressing up day :D Thank you so much! :) <3

  • I don't get how the boostia sticks to your head and sticks to the hair..?

  • this looks much better on you than megan fox.
