16. Human Nature 1-Michael Jackson (I sing)

Update: 27 June 09. Right now, I am still in shock. I don't even know the proper words to post here. Over the last couple of days, I have found that not only his final tv appearance, but also his lyrics have taken on entirely new meanings; prophetic even. It's haunting & sad. Why? Why do so many of the great ones always seem to leave so soon? Why? :-(

My deepest of heartfelt condolences go to Michael's mother and father upon losing a son, to the Jackson family and to his true friends. May they be able to find some peace through the many lives he so obviously has touched.

NOT ONE of us is perfect, but we are so often "followers", so quick to judge others based on hearsay. Always so quick to condemn, we seem to take delight in the demise of others. I do not believe you can be an "evil" spirit and touch people the way he did. Watch his videos: You can feel it in his music, see it in his eyes, feel it from his heart, sense it in his movement, hear it in every nuance of a lyric he sang. Watch his interviews: Listen to his words -- his pleas for a BETTER world. He used his platform for good. I do believe in karma and am happy for both Michael and for US that it exists.

May the oceans of tears from every corner of the globe be Michael's testament and proof that his legacy WILL live on.

Feb 07 - My favorite part of this Michael Jackson song. Found a lovely little reprise version (love finding jewels like this online), and so here it is! So, the next time you're asking yourself "Why, why?". . . Why did I do that stupid thing, why is this happening in the world, or to me, why was he/she taken away from me, why did she treat me that way, or why does he keep doing that, why did I respond that way, or why can't we all just focus on loving one another and try to get along, etc.? Tell yourself it's human nature. Learn from it, and as you know better, do better. It's simply not worth the energy nor jeopardizing your peace of mind.

P.S. I had a crick in my neck from sleeping the wrong way the night before! LOL! o(^-^)o To be quite honest -- I was just freakin' MAD this day! LOL! So, there's a crick in my neck and I'm mad, my hair is a "hot mess" as several people have commented, but my goal is to never stop -- no matter what -- once I've started recording! And so there you have it! One take! LOL!

Sending a shout-out to Michael (if you're watching). Hope I did it justice. LOL. :-) LOVE your voice! (Well, you just never know! I'm sure he watches YouTube too! LOL!) ;-)
