When she woke up again Demetria found herself in the kings arm. She slowly rubbed her eyes before she looked around. They were in some kind of bedroom. She moved a little which made the king look down at her. *how was your sleep ?* he asked her.
She looked up a him and smiled a little *good* the king let out a small chuckle before he stroked her hair. Demetria suddenly remember last night, her smile fade away and she looked at the king with a serious face. *tell everything now*
*not right now, we are still far away from my kingdom* he replied, but Demetria shook her head. *it's already dark outside and for me it's seems like we will staying in here until the morning*
The king let out a small chuckle *still the same annoying maid* *and you are still the same jerk Joseph* he looked down at her again *what ? we are not in your kingdom, you are the one who asked to call you Joseph* the king smiled *it's not that* she gave him a confused look *then what is it ?* he gave her a warm smile *I missed it* Demetria's cheeks turned red before she looked down.
*am I the one who is making you blush ?* the king asked teasingly. Demetria shook her head before she laid down on the bed. the king smiled at her back which was facing him *I thought you wanted to me tell you everything*
*you were right it can wait* she mumbled still embarrassed. The king chuckled before he laid down next to her. *sleep my princess* he wrapped his arms around her waist before he closed his eyes.
Demetria's cheek were red again. But soon a smile appeared on her face. *goodnight Joseph* she closed her eyes.
The next day, her eyes opened when she felt someone shaking her. She saw the king's face a few inch away from her. He smiled at her before he stroked her hair *we need to go now. So we will be able to arrive in the village that is between this kingdom and mine*
Demetria slowly nodded before she stood up. *this time it's only me and you* he told her as they walked out. Before they went down some stairs, the king covered his head and Demetria did the same after he told her to.
*can you tell me now ?* she finally asked. They have been riding since 3 hours and it was the first thing she said since they left. He sighed. *Princess Destiny, Lady Taylor and your mother had planned this from the beginning, your cousin was supposed to take care of you and make sure you would get I my castle, she knew about everything, only one thing. Lady Henry, your father* he paused.
*one of her duties was to make sure I would be killed, so he would rule the three kingdoms and make you marry some prince. But the queen, your mother wasn't against it. That's the reason why when they gave you to a knight to protect you, she ordered him to not give you back*
Demetria nodded *so is Selena against us or with us ?* the king sighed *I would take the first one, she hates me, her mother was supposed to marry my father, if she did so, she would be the one who would be able to rule the three kingdoms and not you. But my father chose my mother. That's why she doesn't know the third part of the queen's plan*
Demetria turned her head a little bit to looked at the king *and what is the third part ?*
The king looked down at her a little but nervous *for you to marry me*
