From a set of junk Webers, cleaned, mounted, and tuned (sort of)...pretty happy considering the "voodoo magic" reputation these have and the fact I have never worked with them before.

  • Yes, they were Webers, but you are free to think anything you want. In fact, these were Italian Webers. I've since switched to Solex.

  • Sorry for the late response...I have a slightly modified L28 (1mm over and stock Nissan cam).

  • @Konish911 very cool. now im the one with the really late response! anywhoo, eive got an e88 and l24 with triples but man i need a tune bad!!!!

  • @BrickMuffin Well, maybe I ought to update my video to the Solex 40s I installed. Personally, I found them to be superior in every single way to the Webers and they were a breeze to tune.

  • I dont think those are Webers.

  • I see ur running a return line on the carbs. Weber carbs aren't supposed to use a return line, it affects the float level. I cut out my return line and sealed it off. Then ran new 3/8 line directly from the pump, with a fuel filter in between the carbs. Do what I just said and it will make a HUGE difference! But of course you need the right fuel pump. The BEST pump for 40 DCOE's and up is the "Carter Electric High Volume Low Pressure" Weber carbs require a lot of volume but very little pressure

  • The #1 thing I have always hated are those DAMN Valve tappets. but the roller cam heads are more trouble then they're worth to find parts for.

  • Attention allways use 1% two stroke oil in your fuel preventing fuels system corrosion and carbs clogging using E10 or other modern too dry eco fuels.

  • where does your fuel return line plumb into??

  • @Konish911 hey please do! im running solex as well...unfortunantly im having compression issues at the moment so my car's running bad. u know what, i think ill post a vid of mine.

  • are you runing a l24 or 28?

  • makes my 71 240z look like alittle bitch =-[
