Most of my tape transfers are done on my home unit, I thought it would be nice to show some of the gear I use on a day to day bases.

  • What kind of digital conversion do you use. Rosetta?

  • In this video it was the Creative Audigy with breakout box I used to digitize the tapes, the Sony DAHS (Now gone) was direct SPIDIF, looking to upgrade my card soon as its a few years old, still sounds great

  • Thanks for responding. I'd love to transfer my band's EP to the C37. What would be the best way to do that?

  • EP to a C37? not sure what an EP is, do you have a C37?

  • Wow.. that is an excellent external hard drive.. mine looks quite tiny compared to yours.. ;-)

  • Cheers!

  • You have a similar computer monitor to my one, I have the Sony G420 19inch.

There is only a few MD decks I would buy, they're those Hi-MD Onkyo ones.

Do you have one of those machines that recorded sound to a wire, before tape?

  • Which machine? there is a mix of mono, stereo, 1/2 and 1/4 track.

  • Is that a 4-Track?

  • Hi, most of this is second hand, some bits are new, some bits were very expensive.
