What would you suggest in terms of heavier fillings (i.e. meat, beans, etc.) for a lunch or something of the sort? If you could point me toward a website that would be great as well.

Yesterday i tried to cook Arepas with corn meal,also add some warm water,it was very raw..i 'd cooked though,but was very bad,i had to trew away.Also yours became dough,mine was still yellow and tick.I ll try to fine some corn flour,thank you for your quick answer.
please make more food tutorials i enjoy making this one... and i want to learn from true colombians so i know its the right way so please make more food for us all to learn thank you

precocooked corn meal ?i have corn meal,and i mixed with water its seems raw..i'm a Turk ,my husband colombian and i love this bread when my sister in low makes it..ajuda perfavor :)

If you could find the brand P.A.N. where you live, that is the best, otherwise any other corn flour will work.
