PC vs Mac

A Mac is a PC made by Apple. They are basically the same thing other than the operating system. For gamers the PC is unarguably better than the Mac. Why? Well way more games, and you can build your own. A well built $1000 PC will be at least on par with a Mac that is $2000 if not better. For the not very tech savy people the Mac will appear to be better but for those that know their way around a computer the PC is the system of choice

unless you have a mac you don't know shit.....I have both...I own a G5 and I own 2 pc's....In the last 5 years the mac has been pretty much bullet proof and a joy to work on, where as the pc has done nothing but shit itself time and time again....This guy is nothing but a jerk-off paid a lot of money by pc manufacturers to rubbish a product that is clearly so much more superior and ahead of it's time. Give it another 20 years and the next generation will be studying about pc's in history class.

Alienware, with basically the same configurations as the Macbook Pro costs $4,297.00. So, even Macbooks are cheaper.

You probably spent all of 10 minutes throwing those prices together. You obviously don't know the first rule of thumb. BUILD YOU OWN! You save THOUSANDS of dollars, and end up with a rig FAR superior than any Mac or pre-built. If you cant understand the simple plug and play assembling procedures of building a computer, you need to just ask any teenager or college student.

By they way, Mac computers only took 3.6% of all computer sales this year.

@LazyAce2170 Well there is more to building a computer than just putting parts together. If you don't combine the right components you might screw up your performance. I mean there is no point in putting ATI 4780 Crossfire with a dual core processor. It's illogical because that won't give you much of a performance leap than a dual core with nvidia 9800 or 9600 GT.
