@LibertyPulse If the Tea Party is so concerned with the deficit and spending, where were they when Bush doubled the deficit with tax cuts that enriched the already rich and two wars that have enriched the military-industrial complex. Sadly, it is your perspective that is lacking clarity.

@LibertyPulse Well, there you go again. I hate to pop your bubble but the article at Organized Exploitation on the 'The Stealth Third Party' does not stand up. The principle organizers of the local Tea Party events are actually the lobbyist-run think tanks Americans for Prosperity and Freedom Works. Newt Gingrich and his American Solutions for Winning the Futures has been an official "partner" in the tea party effort since at least March.

@sinreling09 Sure, that's why our country was so prosperous from 1945 to 1963 when the top tax rate was 88%. Higher taxes on the wealthy doesn't slow private investment. Anybody will end up way ahead if their investment comes through even if they pay a higher portion of their earnings in taxes.

If your father deems it necessary to invest in another employee to help boost his profit, he'll do it, whether he pays 35 cents or 40 cents on each dollar he makes above $250,000.

@sinreling09 -- poor people give jobs all the time... ever been to an emergency room at the county hospital? they have lot's of workers there... ever heard of a Government Housing Agency? they employ tons of people all over the place... your anecdotal evidence there not only exposes itself to be totally biased but also small minded... these tax cuts were for the rich... not the Small Business owners make no mistake about that... The rich are getting richer by leaps and bounds now.

@TinakoriRoad when was the last time a poor person gave you a job? tax cuts helped this nation. my dad is self employed and he wants to hire another employee and if the tax cuts come to an end he wont have enough to cover the wage of a new employee.. and the tax cuts were for s corporations, to help small businesses to have more money for employees

Tea-Baggers are angry people who hate the system of government (even though it's the best in the world). What they don't realize (or refuse to acknowledge) is how much each of them probably benefit from public services. It all adds up to a group of people who are simply angry, but won't be able to effectively govern.
