Filmed at the Armory In Lewiston ME on 01/02/01 as part of the WTOS [105.1FM] Birthday Bash - only four of Maine's best rock bands were invited to play - Rustic Overtones, Twisted Roots, Uncle Jack and Gouds Thumb - what awesome sets of music each band provided. R.O. kicked ass and took no prisoners - this funky rocker had everyone movin' - there's one spot in here [4:19] where the camera suddenly swings around to the left - well, that was when I suddenly heard all this off-beat commotion, over the rest of the music, causing me to turn just in time to capture some rare video footage of Spencer Albee's feet going a-mile-a-minute under his keyboards while he's playing - yes, folks another awesome moment in rock 'n' roll history ...

Rustic Overtones is: Dave Gutter - lead vocals, Tony McNaboe - drums, Dave Noyes - trombone, Jason Ward - baritone saxophone, Jon Roods - bass, Ryan Zoidis - alto saxophone, Spencer Albee - keyboards/piano.

  • One of the best from Northern New England..... Great Vid

  • the more I watch this video, the more I appreciate just how great they really are - hey, David Bowie had a blast working with this band, working on two separate tracks, rather than the original already agreed upon one track [Viva Nueva - "Sector Z" & "Man Without A Mouth"] - glad you enjoyed ...

  • good band

  • yup - I totally agree with you
