Hello watchers and subscribers. This video shows a new location I've been working on. It's somewhat larger than the others I've done and represents the shuttles Science Equipment Bay. The video starts in the Science Lab, but quickly moves you on to the equipment bay. The Eagle eyed will spot an intriguing follow on location (from the Science Equipment Bay). Progress to date has slowed up somewhat. I took quite a knock due to severe performance issues on the Xbox360. These are largely solved now thanks to some excellent help from John and the team at Synapse Gaming (sunburn render engine vendors). So, with those issues behind me, I can get back in to producing the game. Suffice to say the problems stopped any hope of making the Dream Build Play deadline 2011. I want to get this game out in 2011 and will aim for DBP 2012. so, the puzzle in this location will be one of activating the laser and trying NOT to destroy the ship. If your interested, read up on Deuterium Floride - Carbon Dioxide lasers (DF-CO2). You will be activating the laser for a reason of course - to get to the next location. I'm looking forward to programming an emmissive laser beam effect (and modelling some chemical containers). Enjoy the video. Note that there is still some work to do on the lighting and location contents. Not least of which, the main puzzle in this location isn't visible! I know some people can't wait to see or play test (XNA XBLIG) this game - It's still alive and progressing! I hope to have some builds up on play test soon :)

  • @adem44a Thanks. I must admit, never thought of releasing it on Steam. Good idea - I'll have to look in to what is involved. Certainly, a good channel for PC releases.

  • I really like the airlock. The new room is looking great. Are you planning on releasing it on steam? My xbox got rrod, and I would love to play this on PC. Anyways, Keep up the amazing work : )
