Correction: This is the NanoPad from Korg; a compact controller that delivers the feel of an MPC for the amount of money you get from bottle returns (sorry...Michigan joke).

  • @thejedireviewer14 of course

  • PlZ ANSWER ..... Do u have to plug it into ur computer

  • @TheGibsonguitarguy Doesn't work that way.

  • how do you upload samples to nanopad like mp3 sounds or wave files?

  • @NatesStudio But it does have rubber feet :p

  • can i use this with a Avid keystudio KeyBoard?

  • @mrbyg97

That''s like saying "which is better a piano or a drumset." It really depends on your purpose of getting a controller.

  • NanoPad = biggest pile of crap ever produced by a music instrument manufacturer. 2 x units DOA so I'm going to spend my time trying to do £60 worth of damage to Korg's reputation. Which is probably a drop in the ocean compared to the damage Korg themselves have caused. Avoid at all costs!

  • stupid question, but coming from acid pro so a bit confused.

I have the nanoPAD and just bought ableton

Is there anyway I can load, say the 808 drums or 909 drums onto scene 1 and then some samples of mp3 cuts (cuts of different songs) onto another scene?

I used to do that with an MPC, but before I open ableton I need to be able to do that. It's basic, but it's enough to bang out beats. can I also cut mp3 files from within ableton as well?

any advice or link would be appreciated

  • I got the akai lpd 8 its great but not with fl studio , the pads are better than from the korg but i prefer the korg
