I would like to dedicate this song to the memory of Ray Turner and Dick Barron -- two people who worked for the winning of souls for Heaven.
This arrangement came out of the Sacred Classics in Hymn Interpretations for the piano by Henrietta Eleanor Fruen. It was edited by Herbert G. Tovey, Mus. D. This book was published in 1939. The song was written by Dion De Marbelle.
Part of the foreword of the book reads:
"The sweet singer of Gospel music deeply appreciates piano accompaniment that supports the solo. Congregations are greatly helped to sing when the accompanist not only supports the melody but adds chordal and melodic variations that enlarge the song and make its interpretation more pleasing and effective."
