I like the idea of a clean tech racing series. So lets get really progressive - how about a Formula Drift, where the cars are electric powered and hence zero emission AND a mandate to produce "zero" emission from the entire car. Including the tires! If you want to slide around the track looking cool and all, make the wheels out of blocks of ice, so the only emission is water... now that is poetry....

I say put them together to show both pros and cons of battery and gas powered racing at the same time.
Personally i dont mind the idea of battery driving but I wont touch it untill battery last longer and charge quicker.
Driving only a 100 miles and having to charge for 6 hours just dosent cut it.
