Why is there always people that say diesel is best? LMAO and it's not diesel who left the prius behind it's the other way around. Diesel is an ancient technology that can't really go any further in advancement. Maybe if they can combine it with hybrid technology. I would have a prius only I'm waiting for my Audi A4 diesel auto to die, and so far at 190000 miles it's still going. I don't want another high maintenance diesel again, that and the clatter and noise, no thanks. Even the cr is noisy!

Turbo diesel technology left the Prius behind about 20 years ago. The prius and batteries have not really advanced. If toyota were serious, they would do an all electric car or put a turbo diesel in the prius for even more economy. You can't claim 100MPG when the engine is not in use and fuel is not being used. MPG can only be measured when fuel is in use. It's very misleading to say anything else. My ctdi does 55mpg in the town and 72mpg on the motorway - why buy a prius?

I love it. I want that. At the moment I just plug my iPhone in through the audio in jack which is in the central glove box thingy
