  • I feel bad for those who really want to be a homemaker (which IS at least a full time job), but our backwards society views them as lazy free-loaders. Meanwhile, our children are running wild in rebellion because they have no relationship with their parents...

  • For those who think John is a "misogynistic pig," perhaps you are not truly getting what he is saying...possibly because your pride is blocking what the Spirit is saying through John. He is simply saying that a mother and homemaker is a WORTHY and WORTHWHILE profession that has its own Kingdom benefits and payment plans, its own Kingdom 401K plans. It is more important and has more Kingdom implications that simply going out and making money for your family. You are instead making your family.

  • @framboise595 Well actually you look back at society before the industrial revolution and everyone in the family worked - fathers, wives, and children alike. Usually on a farm or something, because 'work' all happened in or around the home, and "home-making" tasks produced income, it was only when the industrial revolution happened that this drastic change in the family happened, and people had to leave their homes to earn an income.

" our backwards society views them as lazy free-loaders"

It is FEMINISTS who started to portray housewives as lazy parasites . They have gone as far as comparing the home to a concentration camp and the husband as a nazi .I don't make up anything ,God knows my heart. Those people are mad , jealous , devilish .

Seeing so many women in the workplace makes me SICK because it shows the triumph of those psychopasts and their deranged ideas.

Christians , FIGHT the devil !

If it was impossible to live off a salary ,then why would God expect women to be homemakers ( Titus 2:4) ? Can God make a mistake ?

In fact ,this two salaries obsession is a trap which sadly plenty of christians fall into . God promised to provide and never forsake us. So why do we listen to the deceitful world ? What do women do outside ? they compete with men and bring this abomination (Jezebelic spirit) inside the home and families fall apart.

    Good job Satan

  • Letting so many women join the workforce (MALE place) can just lead us ALL to the curse written in Isaih 3:12. The more women join the workforce and are given authority jobs (boss ,judge ..) the less submissive they are to their own husbands . This has be proven and denounced even by pagan people. A proof that when women do this the word of God is maligned among the pagans ,as the Bible states in Titus 2:4

  • No it is NOT ok for mothers to work full-time outside the home . It is the best way Satan has found (through feminist filth) to make women malign the word of God.

Women being keepers AT HOME is full part of the Sound Doctrin which HAS to be taught to younger women (Titus 2:4). Destroying gender roles is a way to rebel against God's will ,even though we claim to be 'christians'.

Men have no place anymore in society when women usurp their roles and places . It's a CURSE.

  • I do think that it's really sad how people leave their kids with someone else for most of the day ...

But I don't think it necessarily has to be the mother. If the parents both have part time jobs, so one of them is always home looking after the kid(s), that's fine, they get to spend time with their parents, not a stranger.

  • @JDS3105 that is true, but I think people have a tendancy to want more than they need. They think they can't live off a salary of just £30,000 when our family lives quite happily off about £12,000ish (I don't know the exact figure). Yes, it's hard. We're not wealthy, and we joke about how everything in the house is falling apart, but why do we need more money? We have a house, enough clothes, enough food and a mother who's always been a home :)

  • The problem here is in todays world and today's economy, unless a husband has a really well paying job, it's very, very hard to live off one income..

  • @fromsmithwlove sorry if this is random cuz it has been 3 months, but I do believe that men are called to work as stated in Genesis after the fall Adam was to work the ground. Also Titus 2 as stated wives be worker at home
