Ventricular Tachycardia

Wide complex tachyardia with pulses present.

Patients can be stable or unstable with this rhythm depending on the ventricular rate. The slower the rate, the more stable the patient is. The faster the rate, the more unstable the patient is. Such rhythm can become pulses and ACLS algorithm per VF protocols must be initiated immediately.

I work at a cardiology clinic as a cardiac tech.... had a man download a rhythm strip with severe V.tach and a heart rate of over 240bpm! Was surprised he was even still standing! It's not hard to notice on the ECG paper! Big adrenaline rush! Got him to the ED asap and he was prescribed a defib implant.

I have Brugada (and of course an AICD now!). I have tached as high as 376. Not kidding.

my idea is say that pulseless Vtach can be unstabe they beats 230 beats and Vtach beats faster than SVT.but have less beats than pulseless and a more stable.

VT offen result in hemodynamic compromise. what make this ryhthm more ominous and a 3 group of more PVCS is a run of VT.
