Blockbusters

On the 29th August 1983, A new game show started in the UK, Blockbusters. Also on that day I was also born! I grew up with Blockbusters and it meant so many things each time I heard that theme tune play on the Telly. Hope this helps bring some memories to you as well as sharing mine...

I was 10 when they first broadcast this and it was a part of my childhood as well. I remember " can i have a 'p'please Bob' as well - and the hand jive. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

Not many people know that Bob Holness was the very first actor to play James Bond. I'm not kidding, he played Bond in a radio version in the 1950s. If only they had chosen him for the films, how different cinema history would be then....
