Remember when Nonna used to watch her shows and refused to change? She would usually try to get you into it by trying to explain what little fragments she collected from the story. Also, sometimes, for some strange reason the soap opera they were watching was in Spanish and they seemed to have understood every word. Nonna understanding Spanish? What else don't we know about our Nonnas?

Nonna's watching television peacefully with her husband Chef Luigi when Dave comes by and decides he wants to spend some quality time with Nonna and Nonno. Dave also decides he wants to watch the hockey game!

HILARIOUS. Love the description, too! My Nonna and Nonno used to watch some Asian show on la rai with Italian subtitles, 'cept they were both too blind to read the subtitles! S they would just guess what was happening and gasp whenever a kiss came on. :) good memories!
