Imo, p4 characters were way better (characters are most part of the storyline, appart from that it all comes to the "saving the world plot" in the end -.-). In p3 only Akihiko and Mitsuru stood out on both personality and voice acting. Both have good music, one can't beat the other when it comes to music. But thats MY opinion, to each his own i guess.

i think this game is better at least in character development than persona 3 im playing this right now and thinking back now i hated the character in persona 3. I just didnt like any of them the only one that didnt piss me off was the robot chick

Granted some of the characters act like that here too but they guys didn't wimp out all the time and the girls admitted when they screwed up.

agreed. I though p3's story and social links were more interesting, but p4 definitely wins with some of the gameplay, and the slight voice acting during links. I'm on Naoto's dungeon in 4 now, and I'm really enjoying it, but I still enjoyed 3 WAY more.
